Life Membership

Life membership is obtained by athletes after seven consecutive years of membership.

Dual life membership

Dual life membership is obtained by athletes who complete 14 years of consecutive membership.

Honorary life membership

Honorary life membership is awarded by the committee in recognition of extraordinary service to GGLAC for more than seven years. Any Parents with voting rights can put forward a nomination, with valid reason, in writing to the committee as to why a person should be considered for honorary membership.

Attendance

Athletes are recognised for attendance milestones of 50, 100, 150 and 200+ meets. Attendance awards are calculated on attendance at all home, away and championship events.

The attendance award commenced in the 2019/20 season and prior seasons were based on previous attendance records which were not necessarily completely accurate. Where accurate data was not available, athletes received an average of their available meet data.

The historical attendance information has been collated from the records available and whilst every effort has been taken to ensure its accuracy, the committee acknowledges that not all historical data was accessible or complete.
