Winter Season 

The Winter Season consists of Cross Country and Race Walking activities. Both programs welcome athletes of ALL abilities and provide a fun environment to try something new, fine tune your skills and keep active over the Winter!

Please note all registered members for the 2026-27season do NOT need to register for the Winter Season, this is already included in your season membership.

Race Walking championships are on Sat Jul 10. All information for the upcoming 2027 race walking season can be found on the Little Atheltics SA website. 

Cross Country championships are on Sun 18 Jul. All information for the upcoming 2027 cross country season can be found on the Little Atheltics SA website.

🏃‍♀️ Family Fun Meet

Get ready for a morning of fun, laughter and friendly competition at our Family Fun Meet!

This is a chance for the whole family to get involved and experience athletics together. Whether you’re an athlete, parent, sibling, grandparent or supporter, there will be something for everyone!

Our Family Fun Meet will feature a range of fun and entertaining activities, including races, relays, challenges and games designed for all ages and abilities. Parents and carers can jump in and compete alongside their athletes – or challenge them to see who comes out on top!

No previous athletics experience is needed – just bring your enthusiasm, a sense of fun and your competitive spirit!

Come along, have a go, cheer each other on and enjoy a great morning together as a Golden Grove Little Athletics family.

Everyone is welcome to participate – the more the merrier!

Duty Roster

This week

U14-17 Boys on setup from 7.45am (need a minimum of 2 parents). If we do not receive parent help for setup, the start of the meet may be delayed.

All age groups – The last age group on the event is asked to pack up the event equipment and place in a neat pile to make it easy for us to collect at the end of the meet.

A huge thankyou to everyone who has volunteered over the season – we could not do this without you!!

Child safety –  We would like to remind everyone that an adult must remain at Tilley reserve during the competition, we refer to our Parent participation policy. Ideally you will be able to help out in the age group with the running of the events by retrieving the shot/discus, spiking, raking sand for long/triple jump or returning the bar at high jump. By being involved you are able to support and cheer on your child as they participate.
