SUNDAY 3 DECEMBER AT SA ATHLETICS STADIUM

Another successful Sate Relay Championships for GGLAC was held in December. Our teams came away with 5 Silver and 7 Bronze medals across the day. We placed 6th on the Pam Sard Champion Centre Table with 91 points. This year we had 98 athletes competing in 40 teams. Thank you to all our volunteers who helped out both in the lead up and on the day. Thanks to Abbie and Andy for all their work with putting the teams together and managing the last minute changes to ensure that as many athletes as possible had a chance to compete. Thanks also to our coaches for all their support with training leading up to the event and their coaching, organisation and cheering on the day.

Shout out also to all the committee members who set up and packed up our area and ensured the day ran smoothly and to Owen, Jodie and Ian for officiating on the day. Final thanks go to all the athletes, siblings and families who participated in the mascot themed march past and who provided support, encouragement and cheering over the day.

As a committee we enjoyed watching you all trying your best and proudly representing GGLAC. We hope you all enjoyed the experience as much as we did.
