2019/2020 STATE INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Congratulations to all 37 athletes who competed at the State Individual Championships at the SA Athletics Stadium over the weekend of Sat 14th and Sun 15th March. Whilst we saw some changes to the event this season as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic it was great to see so many athletes enjoying the competition over the two days.
Our athletes achieved 69 Personal Bests, four new Centre Best Performances and one equal State Best Performance. As a club we achieved 43 state medals and finished 5th on the medal table. A special mention to Jack Williams who won five gold medals and finished in a three way tie for Male athlete of the meet for his achievements. We also had two athletes selected to represent SA in the 2020 Australian Little Athletics Championships.

STATE TEAM REPRESENTATION AT THE 2020 AUSTRALIAN LITTLE ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Board of Little Athletics Australia made the decision to cancel the 2020 Australian Little Athletics Championships (ALAC) as a result of the evolving situation in relation to COVID-19 (Coronavirus). This decision was made as a result of the Government’s state of emergency advice regarding non-essential mass gatherings. The team were due to train and travel together to the ALACS in Canberra.
