This season’s State Relay Championships were again a success for GGLAC with our athletes winning 5 Gold, 5 Silver, 3 Bronze as well as setting 6 Centre Best Performances and 1 State Best Performance!
Firstly big thanks must go to the two Jodies for putting the teams together, following up parents and finding late substitutions to make sure we had as many teams and athletes competing as possible.
Secondly, thanks to our coaches Grahame, Scott and the two Pauls for holding training sessions and then on the day motivating, warming up the athletes and marshalling them on time. We can not thank you enough.
Without the dedication, enthusiasm and time invested from all these people and the Committee, today wouldn’t have been the success it was. Thanks to all the parents for getting your athletes there on time, it makes our day a lot less stressful.
Finally, thanks to all our athletes that competed, no matter what your result, remember you did your best, the Club proud and we hope you all enjoyed the experience.
